Can’t recall where I saw these pics but I’m guessing it was eBay. It apparently was on an international blue card in 1983.

Hot Wheels Baja Bug: 2010 #055 Treasure Hunt
This Baja is yellow and black with blue/silver decoration and front detailing. The Treasure hunt logo adorns its sides and a yellow interior resides within. Its bare metal base rides on OR5SP wheels.
It is car 11 of 12 in the Treasure Hunt series and this release is labelled “Volkswagen Baja Beetle” on the card.

I appreciate the protector on the Drag Truck, but it won’t stay safe forever! 🙂

Note: When searching for this truck I found a lot of confusion with Kar Keepers vs. Mystery Cars. The Mystery Cars release has grey paint instead of metallic red.
Hot Wheels Baja Beetle: 2008 Classics Series 4 (Antifreeze)
This Spectraflame Antifreeze VW Baja Beetle included a tin button bearing its likeness. It has a grey interior and white stripes baring VW logos on the doors. Large (rear) and regular (front) 5SP wheels roll beneath its unpainted metal base.
This is vehicle 2 of Hot Wheels Classics Series 4. There were Black, Blue, Copper, and Pink variants of this release.

Metallic red Baja Bug with 5SP wheels, a chrome metal base, white interior, and black & white racing tampos. This is the third entry in the Team Volkswagen series.
